There is no way to make a crack/chip disappear completely. Repairs improve the appearance of the crack/chip, but more importantly windshield repair prevents cracks/chips from spreading and the repair is 100% structurally sound. Our repairs have a lifetime workmanship warranty.
At TMY Auto Glass Solutions we can, in a lot of cases, give you as the customer a choice in long crack repair. When a crack/chip exceeds the size of a dollar bill the windshield would usually have to be replaced. Most repair companies do not offer long crack repair.
Long crack/chip repair can save the customer a lot of money. The crack/chip that exceeds the size of a dollar bill can NOT be in the drivers line of site or a replacement is necessary. The long crack/chip can NOT have multiple cracks extending from the original long crack. (like branches) We will always inspect the long crack/chip and let you know if it meets the requirements for long crack repair.
